Turn on the lights

As I was sitting passenger on a really long ride home one night I decided to break out my camera an see how many colours and forms I could pick up. I ended up with a surprisingly beautiful collection of photos.

What makes light paintings so interesting? Is it the way we can't fully predict what will show up. Is it that sense of wondering how, when, where it was created?
Maybe it's what shows up, or doesn't, that surprises you.
Maybe it's the surprise of a little twist or turn that you didn't expect.
Maybe it's a lot of twist and turns that you deliberately formed
Maybe it's because it's like looking at clouds and using your imagination to create a story.
Maybe it's just about colour.
and direction?
but no matter what it is, there is something about it that makes us stare. Like looking into a fire. There's something so beautiful about light.
