The most interesting thing about the brand is how its "story", and brand history are intertwined with creative and artistic endeavors. As a designer the challenge was to create visuals and promotions that spun that in a modern way accessible to the target consumer. Since its a brand often used in shots, the target is even younger than the usual liqueur brand target. This lead to exciting opportunities working with the Body Art Ball event and a relationship with Corey Miller, celebrity tattoo artist.
Props out to Cue, a branding agency who came up with the new look of Tuaca and won several awards for it. My role as the Creative Director at Tuaca's promotional agency was to take that look and apply it to a series of in store and bar promotions over the span of several years.
