The Tsuchigumo "Earth Spider" are mythical supernatural creatures from the Japanese lore. They were said to live in caverns beneath the mountains. A Tsuchigumo lurks its victims in the shape of a fairy-like boy or a woman of black spider coloured skin and white cobweb hair.
