My first solo exhibition, Traustur vinur (True friend), was held at Gerðuberg in Iceland 2013.
In this exhibition we met a group of individuals, people and creatures that up till now have only been visible to their best friends. Children and grown-ups from all over the world shared with me beautiful stories about their current or past imaginary friends which I then illustrated.
All the originals* are sold but I'm still selling prints of each artwork, you can order it by email.
* Studio Erla & Jonas donated the complete sales worth of the original artwork sold during the exhibition to the Children's Hospital in Reykjavík.
Hugskot is the name of the limited edition book where we published all the stories and artwork together.
The exhibition travelled to the children's theatre, Teatr Miniatura in Gdansk, Poland. Where I also held a little workshop for children where they created their own imaginary friends.
