As a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Mesaba Airlines operates from more obscure locations large Delta planes can’t reach. Mesaba needed a way to inform less frequent passengers that no matter how obscure the location, air travel is available to them.
Posters with original illustrations would be placed throughout smaller municipal airports to tell passengers about the many unique locations Mesaba flies to. Entertaining visual puns catch the viewers attention and remain with them long after they have left the airport.
