Top Source is a new media marketing company. I was asked to design a logo for them. I threw in a calling card and a letterhead in there as well to add to their company identity. I chose 3 distinct colours for them to use. Since they'll be "trafficking" media, I thought that choosing a palette reminiscent to a stop light would work well.
I also made 6 separate icons representing the types of media that they handle namely: - Television
- Radio
- Internet/Web
- Film
- Print
- Word of Mouth/PR
They can use the Television icon if say, they're sending out a letter to a TV station. The icons can be printed on their envelopes. They can also have them printed specifically on the business cards of the employees who work under that particular department in their company.
I designed the logo as a cube because the 6 types of media aforementioned serve as the 6 panels of the cube, and therefore serve as a whole, known as Top Source.
