  • Tom Sachs

  • Tom Sachs has earned worldwide attention for his meticulous sculptures and projects. His best-known work, the NASA Space Program, had a huge, intricately built lunar module made from foamcore. Every piece of artwork he’s ever made out of his SoHo studio has a serial number imprinted on it.

He wanted a site that chronicled all his work, with an emphasis on clear organization, and let him add all his own content. We included YouTube movies whenever possible to show the scale of his sculptures. At first glance, the site we built for him is bare bones, but we wanted to let his huge body of work speak for itself. And we created an online store so he could sell his works to his audience worldwide.

We gave people a way to stay up to date with his new work through RSS feeds. The site was featured for standout design on

Now we can instantly upload content, sell products easily to customers online, and get detailed information on visitors to the site. The best thing is that we don't have to worry about coding!
