    Concept Project
As a student in design school I was given a challenge, design a package that wouldn't be thrown away once it was purchased. I immediately focused on a toy that my four year-old niece would want to play with. The idea behind TinkerBell was to make the packaging her home and creating a lasting brand impression on my niece as she played with both the doll and the package.

As with most toy package designs I started with a standard box then added a memorable die cut. The Pixie Hallow theme added to the design and whimsey of the toy. Lastly, in true Disney style, I "plused" the design by adding lights to the package so when my niece pressed the button on the leaf the entire box began to light up and tinkle where ever there was pixie dust on the packages design.
  • a small note: Don't get the impression that I created the artwork, all artwork is owned by Disney. However, the idea and composition is my work.
