//: A series of 10 illustrations created to be showcased under the collective title 'Times 2'. A unique exhibition that mixes contemporary illustration values, contexts and media alongside art history principles and theories. Inspired by dissertation research into reproducibility and digital advancements, and based upon the musings of Walter Benjamin and John Berger, these illustrations hope to highlight the pros and cons of living within a digital media age, and the role it has upon graphic design and fine art in particular.
//: Intended to stimulate and encourage, these illustrations were then housed within an exhibition booklet in which visitors would be challenged to identify the various elements reproduced from other established art works, and questioned whether their placing within a new contemporary context had any affect upon the artworks original aura or intentions.
//: Have a go yourself to see how many you identify, at the bottom of this page is a list of all the wonderful artists who have been mentioned / reproduced.
