The publication Time/Image/Reports was designed to promote the projects that were developed in the Visual Systems studio class at Berlin University of the Arts during the 2011 summer semester. It was published at the occasion of the annual exhibition. Following a grid concept that is designed for all texts published by the studio class, the 260 x 195 mm format seemed appropriate for a portfolio-like publication. The proportion is favorable for images and leaves enough space for big type sizes on a wider text column. Texts were written by the respective students, while we set the guidelines for the imagery, the typefaces used and how both elements behave in the layout. Our poster designed for the annual exhibition was folded and used as a dust jacket.
