Logo for a sound mixing artist

This logo was designed on a request of a sound mixer artist. Most important note was , the logo need to be simple , clean & modern. To make it more simple , we decided to use simple shaped such as circled squares ..etc. I decided to submit 3 initial concepts based on the following requirements.

1st concept was to use a headphone shape on the logo, and the 2nd was to combine a musical note and the letter " P ", as it was the 2nd name of the artist. And the 3rd concept was a handwritten text.

Clients favorite colour was purple, and blue was optional. Final result and the selected logo was the 1st concept. :)
