The Brief
The aim of the brief is work up a design using ‘Lovely Days’ as your theme. This covers off any day that involves coming together with another person to celebrate a special occasion. For example, Valentine’s Day, Wedding Day, Engagement, Mother’s Day or just spending a ‘lovely day’ with that someone special... Your designs could be applied across a range of products from Greetings Cards, Gift Bags & Stationery Products for the M&S customer.
The Solution
My stepmum LOVES giraffes! It is her birthday this month so I designed her a a giraffe birthday card.
This is the giraffe character I designed for her with some modifications made. I have included hearts within the design of the giraffe character (nose, belly and tail) and have used them throughout the design to reflect the theme of lovely days. I love crafts, paper-cutting, paper-mechanics etc. and wanted to give my design a handmade feel. I hope you enjoy them! :D
