"Thou Shall Not Steal" is a hand-drawn ink illustration (on paper) done for INDIE Magazine's 10th Anniversary issue, published worldwide.
The editorial "Ten Commandments" featured magazine's 10 favorite illustrators depicting each of the 10 commandments in their own style. Below you can see my work, including the close-up, detail shots. Having traveled through India earlier this year, I've drawn inspiration from Hindu mythology and architecture to comprise this piece, and give a new angle to well known Christian rule.

This is the original artwork. INDIE Magazine requested that the character was re-worked to give it more scandalous look and feel, so it would fit better with the magazine's rebellious theme.
