The purpose of this book was to reinvent a graphic standards manual for our corporation. The visual objective was to stay true to the corporation and think of conventional and unconventional ways to create the manual and stationery.
About Think Art, Inc.: Think Art, Inc. is a non-profit organization that helps art professors teach other professors to become better art professors. Their mission is to provide a better understanding to professors about the different ways to enhance teaching in visual and performing arts in everything and everywhere.
Book Specifications & Techniques: The exterior is a black textured leather, which was treated with white ink to allow to seal in the books title. The binding is handmade using four screws. To help keep the book together a black leather band was created. Four different kinds of papers were used with different textures and weights. Inside the manual you will find patterns and a special typeface done exclusively for the organization. Since there was no glue used for this book, many things were stitched together using a thread and a needle.
