This is one of my favorite projects as it offers people a design object that makes choosing cycling as a means of transportation much more easier.  This document presents an extensive research on urban cycling in Mexico City, and the insights this research dropped. It seems people are afraid to hump on a bike for several reasons. A folding bicycle carrier was designed to minimize people's fears in order to boost cycling community in Mexio City.  

 

Bicycle riders are encouraged to make at least one of the journeys by bike, say, for instance, ride early to a party, to work, supermarket and if it's raining, cold, late, to many things to carry (etc, etc, etc..) they can get a ride home just placing the rack in the trunk of a car and hanging the bike.
