Visitors buy a container of “mining rough” enriched with gemstones or fossils from around the world. There is a wide variety of gems or fossils in the mix; no two bags are the same.
The mix is delivered to you in individual polythene bags, which you can sell like this, or poured into small galvanised steel buckets, which we can provide, for that authentic mining feel.
The visitor then washes the mix in the sluice, revealing the gems or fossils. Whatever they find, they keep! The attraction appeals to all ages, boys and girls alike.
