INFOGRAPHIC POSTER "The story of Romeo & Juliet"

  • "Romeo & Juliet"
A first attempt to visually tell the tragic love story of William Shakespeare in a poster.
  • Regarding the design of the icons, I have taken inspiration from the work of Tom Gauld, you can have a look at his amazing drawings on his website, and on his Flickr account
  • The idea was to develop an infographic that would help the user to relive the story in two ways.

The first one helps to relive the tale through a selection of one of the main characters. Choosing a character allows to retrace everything s/he does until the end, and every interaction s/he has on the way.

The second one allows the user to relive the story through a simplified timeline of the main events of it; twelve important events have been chosen and have been represent through pictograms.

Here is the final infographic poster.
