The Rhythm of my Language | إيقاع لغتي
The sound of the visual rhythm played by the Arabic letter was explored and linked to the classic rhyme found in the words of the popular great and long 10 poems in classic Arabic poetry, known as: Almo'lakat.
So, the rhythm here is played by the letter and the word. As the style of Farsi lettering was chosen, due to its flexibility, the visible difference between thick and thin strokes, and the fantastic negative space that results when the letters are joined.
The beginning of each poem was taken, and the words where used in different ways to create visual
rhythm through small words seen as text, in addition to separated words that were interrupted to create a dynamic rhythm through eye movements.
إن للحرف العربي إيقاعا بصريا يمكن مشاهدته وسماعه، حيث تم ربطه بالقافية الموجودة بالقصائد العشر الطوال المعروفة بالمعلقات. فالإيقاع البصري هنا ناتج من الحرف والكلمة. أما الحرف فقد تم اختيار الحرف الفارسي لليونته ولوجود فرق واضح بين خطيه الأفقي والعامودي، ، كما أنه يصنع فراغات سلبية رائعة عند شبك حروفه مع بعضها. تم أخذ المطلع من كل قصيدة واستخدمت كلماتها متصلة كنص بالإضافة إلى الكلمات المنفصلة والتي تعطي إيقاعا ما من خلال متابعة العين لها.
