Late 19, December 1915 under the cover of dark New Zealand evacuated out of Gallipoli. This is the journal of the leader at time Sir Alexander Godley. It has the accords of the evacuation with also personal stories and letters home to his family. This was for the 2012 ISTD brief ‘On this day’.
