The Wellington Connection is a fictional re brand that I did for the Wellington city public transport system.
One of the problems to solve in this brief was to unite all elements of the cities public transport under one brand. Another was to encourage more people to get involved and use the system.
The Wellington Connection was the brand I developed to address these issues. The main ideas behind the brand is that it allows people to create a loyalty to their route. From speaking with locals at a few of the transports destinations I distilled out what makes each location unique. Using these findings I created an identity for each route that allows each destination to be different while still being able to be united under the single brand of The Wellington Connection.
