The Vitruvian Man for ML Chiropractic

This was a commission from ML Chiropractic in London.
Barny Lucas required some interesting imagery for his practice.
This was after all something that was going to be printed at 40 square
centimetres, a true joy to see the work printed out and mounted!

Modeled by actor, Henry Garret, the difficulty was how to interpret an illustration
into a photograph. As Da Vinci's was an impossible image, ie a man with four arms & four
legs would look like a circus freak if this was created photographically with the same
illustrative precision as the original, so I decided to make my own interpretation in the art direction.
That was to create an oppacity instead of blending the 'other' legs & arms. Thus producing
a more distinctly obvious photographic illustration in interpretation of the original.
