Yes, they really do play real vegetables - The Vegetable Orchestra is a real musical group in Europe who turn carrots into flutes and all sorts of other edible plants into various musical instruments. The concept for this poster series was based on a quote from their web page. When describing their concept, they said "you can make music out of nearly everything, each thing contains a very specific acoustic quality and represents an intricate universe of sound." This is my visual representation of that intricate universe of sound.
