ROLE: Properties Manager & Light Board Operator

 

The Trial, adapted by Kenneth Albers, Produced by NCTC & directed by John Langs, is an incredible peice of theater, so well recieved by the community it's run was extended.

 

As Properties Manager for The Trial I faced the challenges of needing to stay within a micro budget without compromising the quality of the production. Specific hard to find items included an electric mobility scooter that could operate within the tight parameters of our space, a custom made bust of the actor playing Joseph K, helium, 300+ balloons to be popped during the run, and the creation of a prop birthday cake, as well as many small hand props.

 

As Light Board Operator I ensured the perfect execution of the lighting design throughout the run of the show.
