When Alexander "Clubber" Williams transferred to the 23rd precinct, he remarked on the opportunities for corruption. He said "I've been living on chuck steak for too long, and now its time for a little of the tenderloin."
My typeface was inspired by these various cuts of meat. Cuts of opportunity. This meat represented a social structure and with it came labels. If you were on the wrong side of poverty, your life embodied this, poor, dismal outlook in every facet of your life, down to the food you consumed.
The chase for something better often resulted in the distortion of ones self-- a loss of innocence, and the unveiling of a grotesque beast-- Greed: An ugly mash of intentions that is illustrated in my typeface.
