I am a visual artist from India and work with publication & entertainment industry here and my studio label is inkbrushnme.
My intense attraction and passion to make street art made me organize a street art project in my town Pune. Here are some murals that were created during this project. A lot of young artists from India are coming out of their studios to make street art for various reasons, on various levels. Our art has got good visibility and acceptance from various stratas of society as its a relatively new medium for Indian citizens in modern times. Culturally art has always played a dominant part through our lives but as times have changed, modernization of life have made us alien from our roots. Through street art a lot of us are being able to connect some aspects of our past, present and a small opening towards better days ahead.
