The project explores development of the Russian culture and community on the territory of Latvia.
The book revives the history by telling it in contemporary visual language. Photographs and illustrations highlight the most important and symbolic events, helping reader to navigate through complexities of history.
The text is presented in Russian and English languages. Headings and quotations are set in a contemporary version of the first Cyrillic typeface that was created in the 17th century. The typeface symbolises a link between history and modern times.
