The “Rightness of Wrongness –Little People Crack Concrete” is being developed during 2013 as a topological journey at the city of Athens in a rapidly changing period that becomes an ontological question for its identity at this difficult and transitional period synonymous to the recent financial developments. Who are they and what do they hope these people that seem trapped between the walls of Athens? Are they capable of extending – communicating their spaces and their hopes?
This project focuses to the urban landscape and societies and addresses broader issues related to a common language, identification and placement in the contemporary world. Shaping a contact web between people, cities and countries is a necessity, a current concern that challenges our ethics and limits. Today the timing almost demands from us to understand to each other in any city, in any country or between countries, to demolish the new current walls that have been erected. The nature of the project is ephemeral, nomadic and adaptable by emphasizing to the time continuity of the places around it and becomes an urban collider, a travelling language shaped by transitions, different places and people, a potential unificative vessel, a method of re making contact. Meeting is understanding and this project through a number of photographs ,videos and sounds creates a place for meeting, becomes a message of tolerance and hope, a manner of understanding and co existing alongside with becoming a documentation of today’s reality.
