he Prospect was briefed in by our client Indevin Partners New Zealand. They asked us to produce a premium wine brand for UK supermarket chain Morrisons.

It was important that the label communicated a sense of provenance and an overall sense of reliability, heritage and trustworthiness.

We achieved this by using several nifty print techniques, namely the layering up of black on black ink onto an uncoated stock and a high build spot UV gloss which gives a subtle black, on black, on black look contrasting the coastline, the land and the intersecting co-ordinates where the grapes are grown. We've also used gold foil with restraint, while the horizontal lines running across the white panel allude to a laid stock. A mixture of typography helped bring about a feeling of history and solidity to the brand. Read Less
