The Pleroma 04 : Odin

In this project I decided to demonstrate a series of graphic works inspired by various mythological and legendary characters from different cultures, among which there are gods and creatures from the Underworld.
The characters have acquired their new forms as each of them is to be painted on a Harley Davidson gas tank and therefore adjusted to its shape.
I sincerely hope that these works won't put the depicted entities into rage and they won't haunt me in my dreams demanding their vendetta.

Odin is believed to have been the chief god of the Germanic pantheon. The ruler of Asgard and the leader of the Æsir, he is also the patron of magic & shamanism, runes & poetry, war & victory, obsession, rage and sacred intoxication. Since he exchanged one of his eyes for a drink from Mímisbrunnr or Mímirs' well, a mythological source of supreme knowledge, Odin is one-eyed. His weapon is Gungnir, a spear that never misses its target. His companions are Huginn and Munnin, a pair of ravens that fly all over the world and bring information to him.
