By 2001, I had earned university qualifications in Mathematics, Computer Science and Petroleum Engineering. I was ready to launch into the corporate world. After two interview sessions, I was accepted into the energy section of one of the premier banks in Nigeria. But I never went back to pick up my employment letter. My visits to the head office revealed one thing to me: I didn't want that life. Today, I am an illustrator and graphic designer, a hobby I had developed on my personal time over the years.
This feature does not capture all the memorable moments of my early life, but it touches the essence of how I was able to keep my passion for visual story telling alive over the years. I am fortunate to be making a living doing what I really enjoy. Creativity is not just work for me, it's life!
