February is a pretty cold time in Chicago. I went out for a weekend with a couple crisp five dollar bills and a handful of hand warmers. As I walked the streets of Chicago I approached several panhandlers, asked for their name and if I could take their photo. Most of them were willing, and the couple that didn't changed their mind when I told them I would give them five dollars and some hand warmers.

I really felt for these individuals and was happy that I could give them some time listening to their stories and hope that they were able to get a hot meal and warm their hands.
