- The NONANON Project
for ISTD Student Brief "True Stories, True Geographies" 2010
The project is based on real adverts found on a remote part of Gumtree Cape Town - the missed connections section. It's a space where people post adverts, looking for people they met (or didn't meet) in random places like supermarkets or parking lots. They're quirky and cringe-worthy and utterly fascinating.
The NONANON project acts as a kind of intervention, for which these thoughts are exposed to the literal environments from where the ads originated.
The final product is a booklet/ zine for a hypothetical exhibition of the entire project.
The project earned me membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers in September 2010.

- "Last Friday in Metro Plus from deep river to CT, I made the mistake to sit next to this beautiful black girl.
You were busy on your facebook so we didn't talk a lot. You told me that you were on your way to work the city, we discussed about facebook closing down... I think you remember now.
Please get back to me, you are so nice and I would like to be your friend."
