Whole Foods Market Local Foragers travel the region visiting farms and meeting producers, with an eye toward bringing the products from local farms to shoppers via Whole Foods Market. Scott Battishill approached me with an opportunity to bring this program to life, both online and in the store. I designed an interactive blog where forager Denise Breyley could upload from the road the stories of the local producers and farmers she meets. The experience illustrates her journey via a google maps mashup and it allows the end consumer to scan a microsoft tag instore to see the story behind the product on the shelf. It created a new cpg brand within the store aisles, one that spanned multiple categories but were all locally foraged. I worked with the talented Eric Mathiasen on the quick turn build.
