The project took off with the idea of playing with a dead fish, which became a key ingredient in my project.
This issue of the magazine, the “So long and thanks for all the fish issue”, is ment to be a critique towards the decline of fish stocks.

The readers should after having read the magazine, experience a weird feeling which makes them think about what they just experienced. Nothing is explained within the magazine and the text and the images might not match. This idea is based on the fact that nothing can really be explained and are linked to more existential questions such as “Who am I?” and “Why are we here?”.

This magazine might give people an understanding about the environmental crisis in an indirectly way and even though the magazine is based on humour, it can still make people reflect over the underlying seriousness and become aware of the paradox; that the fish might be extinct one day. Read Less
