The Isaiah Project
- The Isaiah ProjectThe underlying work of Lark Studio
- The Isaiah project was undertaken after a three year study of the scripture (KJV) and associated commentaries. To date approximately 20 of the 66 chapters have been started in sketch or notation form with 5 chapters complete. It is expected that over 100 works will be required due to the complexity of some chapters and chapters that are visualized in more than one way.The chapters are focused on as inspiration is provided. For example; the project was started in re-reading chap. 3 and having a strong visualization of the “red haired girl”. It was originally very simple and graphically strong. Further readings created organization as visually compelling words, phrases or verses added to the original concept. The chapter was blocked out in Photoshop (background image - as all chapters are). The final work was fleshed out and added to during the CG/photo/paint process was undertaken. All of these are expected to be visualized as in “the latter days”; e.g. all images are from the 19th century or later. The intent is to show the writings in the perspective of the last days that Isaiah most often wrote of.The works can be appreciated simply as visual forms. Full appreciation will come from reading the chapter during viewing. It is assumed at each viewer will have a somewhat differing interpretation.
