My concept behind this piece was to show a metaphorical interpretation of the Tate Taylor movie “The Help”— using a variety of icons hidden in wallpaper — representing southern socialite society in the 1960s. The wallpaper coming off the walls symbolizes the unrest and change that occurs throughout the movie.

The wallpaper coming off the walls symbolizes the unrest and change that occurs throughout the movie.
My concept was to represent the 1960’s southern socialite society covering up the ugly truth with niceties. I extended my concept from the poster to the DVD cover and added meaningful scenes from the movie on the back.
I created a short motion title keeping the theme from the poster and dvd.
