This was a project for a client. The client gave me an idea about what they would like: a heart-shaped bean, text wrapped around the coffee bean in a circle, a rubber stamp effect on the whole image, and green colours to be used. This is the final design that I sent to the client.
Instead of using a rubber stamp effect, I created two rough circles, to look like coffee cup rings. This created a more subtle effect, and made the logo appear more organic and friendly.
Using a handwriting style typeface gives the logo a more personal touch, so makes it look less corporate and more about the interaction between the supplier and the customer.
