A series of thirty mixed media collages based on a set of thirty musical compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach. Baroque point-counterpoint musical style was electronically translated using music visualization software and layered with handmade chance derived paper collage images to create a graphic metaphor describing the similarities of our present day penchant for the machine-made digital verses the humanist post-digital, and the passion for mathematical precision in Bach's time.
All thirty images that comprise this series connect together in a six units wide by five units high matrix to form a single image, so sequential numbered works can be hung together to form larger pieces.
