I was feeling uninspired and unable to focus on my art making until I recently viewed Miranda July's latest film, "The Future".  July's character in the film sets out to do 30 dances in 30 days, unfortunately she never finishes her series.  This film sparked the desire to give myself a similar goal and to follow through with it as an ode to July's character.

This series is a bright and cheerful collection of patterns and geometry that aims to showcase a vivacity that we all deserve for our lives. The layering of shapes and patterns in bright and bold colors is my personal aesthetic and I cannot imagine myself creating anything different. This is the work that makes me happy and has inspired me to become the artist that I am today. "The Future" is an omen of a bright future that possible for anyone that strives to obtain their dream.
