"The Saint Petersburg Flood Prevention Facility Complex" it is called "dam" - the biggest complex in the world. Here everything is clear: there is the highway, there are bridges, tunnels, locks, embankments and fencing. Space is constructed clearly and functionally. Lines organize perspective, barier organizes the water, shore organize communications. It is a zone of control over the elements. The man is watching the results of their efforts to conquer the nature. In this space, I outline the border between the threat and safety. I look at the rest of people, I hear cars speeding on the highway, feel the presence of the elements and the paradox is undertaking a picnic on the granite boulders that protect the city from flooding. I'm going back with the memories of weightlessness and pictures of a fantastic road in the middle of the sea.
