In February 2012 I have submitted a design (together with Bygg) for Woensel West Wedstrijd, organised by social housing corporation Trudo in Eindhoven. The design includes a sculptural architectural object placed on a ‘plinth’. The building has a flexible layout, making it possible to arrange the floors to be studios, workshops or apartments, depending on current demand. The architecture takes its sharp angles from the view lines and roof lines of the surrounding. The diagonal position of the wooden siding enhances the sculpture form.
