Women have been restricted from their individuality for a very long time. Freedom is something to strive for but also recognition as active members of society, members whose liberties should be respected. In this project I use the crown as a symbol of control over identity, including all types of women in order to scream as one voice.

I asked Pam what it means to her being a woman and she answered: "To me it's more about what it means to be a human being; it is a union between a physical entity, soul, and spirit. But I think an important part of being a woman is to continue to fight and search for equality."
