The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas / Entryway: Wild Postings

We were tasked by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to drive more traffic through the front doors. Did this mean we installed flashing neon lights and lined the streets with sandwich boards? That’s what old Vegas would do. We knew there was a different approach. A more uniquely cosmopolitan sort of way-finding - a solution that could be entertaining, informative, worldly and worth experiencing again.

OBJECTIVE:
Using the building’s glass facade as a canvas, we were tasked to artfully distinguish The Cosmopolitan from the strip and drive guests through the front doors.

SOLUTION:
Pulling inspiration from way-finding techniques, we spoke directly to pedestrians, in a very cosmopolitan way. “The Big Flirt” teased and intrigued passersby and gently guided them to come discover The Cosmopolitan on their own - even though we were a bit too forward.

Continuing in the spirit of street art and guerrilla marketing, “Wild Postings” transformed the entryway into a gigantic display of customized urban poster art. Every restaurant, shop, event and attraction in the building had a unique poster created by our artists. When applied to each window, the posters came together in a stunning display resembling an urban sidewalk, drawing pedestrians in for a closer look.

RESULTS:
The two installations increased foot traffic into the casino and guests interacted with The Cosmopolitan brand in a new and engaging way.
