  • "Convergence of Two"  is a series of  mixed media painting (books, book pages, newsprint, and rice paper incorporated to build the surface and visual texture) I did for my undergraduate thesis. These paintings were the product of over 9 months of painting. I initially starting painting with the intentions of integrating my design work. This is where the books came in. I eventually ended up doing very expressive work using the books,  book pages and several types of paper to build up the surface texture. The work is all about texture in all of it's forms. Come check out my latest work on my Facebook page: CALEB MICHAEL IRWIN.
