The Conceptual Portrait

  •

My conceptual work first started off as an experimental link between humans and nature, or put another way, portraits and landscape. If you take a moment and stop by my "Cotton Hollow" project, you will be able to ready my thoughts on that subject. I consider this project to be the next step in my progression as a photographer.

Each photograph utilizes the photo expansion technique. This technique created by Ryan Brenzier, allows a photographer to stitch multiple frames together to create the effect of a large sensor, both in print size and extreme depth of field.

All photographs were shot on site with necessary props, with the exception of various sky (atmospheric) elements.
