Unless you are colorblind, the world as we see it will be in color. In the presentation of black and white photography we see tones (ranging from white to black) and the form of the scene or object in the image.
So how does the mind process a black and white image when we normally see in color? Do we imagine the black and white to be in color by adding color in our minds eye? Or do we just see the black and white tones?
