- Chingaza Moorlands
photographs of an endangered habitat
- Photographs taken at the Chingaza Moorlands in the outskirts of Bogotá, Colombia. These moors provide over 80% of the water consumed daily by the 8 million plus inhabitants of Bogotá, even though they cover a comparatively small area, less than 8%, when compared to the region's habitats.
These photographs where taken to showcase some of the diversity and complexity that arises in such remote & endangered places.
Taken as part of the Páramo Savers project in my portfolio.
