K&i had the privilege in designing a 204-page book, which went into the goody bags at the 4th SA Innovation Summit held in Johannesburg. The book (sponsored by FNB) was created as an extended directory featuring some of the leading innovators from around the world.
It includes information from the summit’s speakers, varying notes pages and some serious ‘out of the box’ concepts. The books aim was to stimulate imagination, encourage new idea thinking, and to promote interaction and exploration. We did this by introducing playful pages; a tear-out bookmark, which reveals hidden messages and is used to make up others, pages that need to be lifted to the light, folding pages, and using more than one book at a time to make up an illustration.
