Based on the story of detective, murders, alcohol, drugs and sex in 1940s in Los Angeles of The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler .

 

The concept of an illustration are based on the idea a sin city where it includes all the characteristic of a sin sex,murder and drugs.The glass is the pure representation of a sin city where the red wine red presents blood and sex while the spilled wine represent the tremor caused by violence of murders and since the story based on detective,murders, crime and mystery, chose a more bold,serious handwritten typeface.
