The Abettor's Letters - UI and Game Design

The Abettor's Letters is an educational point-and-click adventure game that teaches players French, and is currently in development. The game focuses on creating an enticing story, colorful characters and a interesting world to drive the language learning.

The world and characters are hand painted by artists JoJo Seames (character design) and McCal Joy (background/level design). As the project designer, it was my job to not only create the gameplay mechanic that would teach players French (or potentially any other language), but to fuse these 2 artists work into a single cohesive style.
